When I think of Child Development...

Quotes About Children More
I think this quote explains the development of a child. In order for children to be successful, parents need to create the foundation of how to be successful (the roots); the roots would be the development of a young child. I interpret the wings to be a child's ability to take what they have learned and become independent.

I wanted to thank you for all of the information you've offered us in regards to global health issues and for opening up about your experience with the student who was experiencing stressors. I can't imagine how it must have felt to deal with that, thank you for sharing with us. Best of luck as you continue on your educational journey- I'm sure well meet again in another class along the way!

  2. Brianna,
I love this quote. It really resonates with me. I feel even as educators we help the parents create that foundation, or fill in the gaps, and thats what gives children their wings to explore and go out on their own. Thank you so much for providing such insight for me personally throughout this course. I have really enjoyed reading your thoughts and hope that we are able to cross paths again on our educational journey. Good luck in all you do.
